Pennsylvania Highlands Community College will be holding Commencement for the Twenty-First Graduating Class on Saturday, May 7th, in the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Richland Campus Auditorium. The Ceremony will begin at 10:00am.
This year’s commencement address will be given by Miriam Kaye Fink, of Hollsopple. Ms. Fink is obtaining a degree in Business Management, and was very active within Penn Highlands as a Student Trustee, Student Senate President, Treasurer/Historian for Phi Theta Kappa, and Networking Team Coordinator for the National Society of Leadership and Success. With all of her credentials, she was recently named to the All-PA Academic Team.
Miriam Kaye Fink will speak and share her story to over 275 graduates. Also addressing the graduates will be College President Dr. Walter Asonevich, Chairperson of the Board of Trustees John Skelley, Cambria County President Commissioner Thomas Chernisky, and Faculty Senate President Dr. Robert Clark.
In addition to awarding associate degrees, diplomas, and certificates at the ceremony, Pennsylvania Highlands Community College will also present the Distinguished Graduate Award, which honors a student who has contributed his or her time and effort to Pennsylvania Highlands and the community while maintaining a high level of academic performance.
