On Thursday, March 31st, at 12:15pm, the Pennsylvania Highlands Community College Career Services Center will host a panel of employers for both college and high school students to learn from. Attendees will have the opportunity to hear first-hand from these employers about the types of skills and values they seek in job candidates during this employer panel session. This panel session, titled “What Do Employers Really Want,” will be held in the College’s Richland Campus Auditorium.
Seven professionals from the following companies will be participating in the panel: AmeriServ Financial, Community Foundation for the Alleghenies, First National Bank, DRS Laurel Technologies, Alternative Community Resource Program, Problem Solutions, and Advanced Auto Parts.
The panel session will be moderated by Bob Mainhart, adjunct faculty member at Pennsylvania Highlands Community College. In addition to hearing about the qualities that employers seek, students will get to learn more about each of the local businesses from its respective representative. During this interactive session students will have the opportunity to ask questions and talk with employer representatives.
